Cancer Treatment: An Overview of Pulsed Electric Field Utilization and Generation

چکیده

Patients diagnosed with cancer receive different types of treatments based on the type and level tumour. An emerging treatment that differs from well-developed systematic therapies (i.e., Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Immunotherapy) is Tumour Treating Field (TTF) treatment. behaviour under TTF varies electric field intensity; process exposing tumour cells to an called electroporation. From electrical perspective, most efficient method for electroporation use a voltage pulse generator. Several generator topologies have been introduced overcome existing limitations, mitigate drawbacks classical generators, provide more controllable, flexible, portable solid-state generators. This paper provides review using highlights key specifications required Additionally, potential generators are reviewed compared in terms their efficacy power.
